REMEMBRANCE DAY CELEBRATIONS - This November 11th, 2023 our Remembrance Day Celebrations will resume as per pre-covid. There will be a short parade from our new clubhouse located at 150 Gray Rd in Rutland to the Cenotaph in Lions Park. Parade participants will muster (line up) in front of the clubhouse at 155 Gray Rd (Rutland Health Centre) no later than 9:45. A Ceremony and laying of wreaths will be held at the Cenotaph starting at 10:30 AM. After the ceremonies are completed, ANAF Members and members of the public are encouraged to attend an open house reception back at the ANAF Clubhouse. At some point in the afternoon there will be a performance by the Kelowna Pipe Band. Appies and refreshments will be available as well as alcohol beverages available for purchase. No minors will be allowed inside the hall however children will be allowed to assemble under a canopy located at the rear (back door) of the clubhouse where there will be hot chocolate and hot dogs available for any children that do attend. Entrance to the back lot can be gained via the short alleyway adjacent to the SaveOn parking lot and going east from Park Rd.
